If you think there are that many idiots maybe you're the idiot.

Doris Ramos

meanwhile me, working in IT with customers as network architect, telling them what to do, really working 6 hrs /day from home (the rest is csgo/browsing/etc), earning ~170k eur/year net...

Whoever drew this possibly don’t have any other job experience only IT. I did shitty, crappy and dangerous jobs, and IT, even its difficulties, are way better. IT jobs still consist of people meaning you’ll have people problems.

Raygena Claywell Green

I'm a network engineer and I'm really happy with my job.this is bullshit

Princess Sarah Muñoz

Why are the number of idiots a step function?

Elizabeth Navarro

I did leave it, in september. Finally couldn't take all the bullshit anymore, and I feel great. I have some ideia of a plan B but I'm chill for at least a year. Fuck it. Manage to save a good amount to last some good years in emergency funds and long term investiments.

The issue here is that posts like this usually comes from IT support workers as doing some IT support is working with IT... like, it support is the bottom of the bottom scrap and soon will be replaced by robots

Justin Skaggs

People working in IT really like sucking themselves off.

Suresh Gorrela

no escalating stress??? that's pretty good.

Lenelyn Igbuhay

That works for very corporate type job.

Raluca Teodorescu

Have you tried playing the same game as female?

I wanna rebuild my new community place in France, for people that work remote, but don't have the financing The goal is to make a community where everyone has their own tiny home but there's a common room, restaurant wifi area A Coworking/coliving space for people to develop their skills, If anyone on this thread is interested, It would come with a full workshop and fablab

Well OP is clearly not cut out to be a graphc designer with those font and colour choices.

Stephanie Holton

In law it's different. First you need study skills, then you need to understand and use what you learned and learn some more. Later as you gain experience and climb higher, you can basically forget law and it will be all people skills.

I work in IT and just got a raise this week, so most of it is true, except credit given by manager

Nisim Salinas

Working in IT is just very ungrateful. When all the systems work you think "what are we paying these guys for?" and if a system doesn't work you ask "what are we paying these guys for?"

Kathleen Mccarthy

14 years and still love it. Maybe you are in wrong place or have wrong attitude.

Marvin Baluyot Velarde

IT is a pretty broad term you could be a service technician or a network developer. A in house service technician can have a pretty relaxed job (can not must before someone is crying)

Christala Valdez

From what I have heard career in IT can be very different. You could be the server room wizard, whose presence is required 24/7 for a low salary. Or you can be some tech genius kid who is never seen in day light, and only has to work 3 hours per day but is making the same wage as the company director. Career in IT can be different from one extreme to another depending on how the company treats the employees. But the job market of IT sector gives workers the upper hand. So just leave a shitty company. They will not find a replacement worker easily.
